“Patience and Prep Will Get Us Everywhere”
Viparita Salabhasana is an advanced yoga posture that demands back strength, flexibility and a good deal of fearlessness from the practitioner.
The first time I saw this pose, I was certain that I’d never be able to practice it.
I had a good few reasons too.
What if I break my neck. What if I go splat and drop on my knees.
Anyway I discovered that working on opening the throat, heart and preparing the back is key to acheiving this pose. Today I am demonstrating my routine.
